By the time we arrived at Bau Sau (the Crocodile
Lake) in Cat Tien National Park of Dong Nai Province, we had already
spent a remarkable morning trekking through 15km of rainy jungle.
Calling all adventure seekers! The annual Madagui
Trophy competition takes place this year on March 9-10 in and around Cat
Tien National Park, the biggest national park in Viet Nam.
Although it is not yet a tourist park, Cat Tien
archaeological site in Lam Dong Province''s Cat Tien District attracts
thousands of tourists every month. Some 60 groups have visited so far
this year, according to its management.
A nha dai or communal house of ethnic groups living
at the Cat Tien National Park has opened its doors to welcome tourists
visiting the park in Ta Lai Commune, Tan Phu District in the southern
province of Dong Nai.
